Facing Problems

From Ilchi Lee’s book BEST 5 Handbook

No matter what problem I encounter in my life, the problem is not me, but mine, and thus, I can face the problem directly and solve it. If you think the circumstance you are facing is yourself, there is no way of confronting or ameliorating it. A difficulty of any kind is no more than “an obstacle” – it is not me. It is rather like a temporary, unwanted guest. When you develop such awareness, you will be able to face the barrier and manage to overcome it. If we understand our brain, this idea will become common sense.
